As rumours swirl that the pair are growing apart, it looks like their holiday break apart is about to come to an end.
Kristen Stewart was spotted without her on-again off-again boyfriend Robert Pattinson at JFK airport in New York on Saturday, perhaps en route to Los Angeles for the next few weeks of award shows.
The 22-year-old couldn’t be bothered to flash a smile for the cameras, storming from her ride and into their airport with a crew of handlers in tow.
Kristen looked ready for a cosy plane ride home as she covered up her trademark jeans and T-shirt in an oversized green coat and matching military style boots.
The starlet also slipped on sunglasses and had her hair flipped over her left shoulder.
But carried on her arm was one of Robert’s jackets, which he was last seen at the Twilight premiere in Germany – perhaps a sign that the couple is still holding strong.
After spending the holidays apart, Kristen is most likely enroute to Los Angeles to join Robert at Sunday’s Golden Globes.
The Cosmopolis star has been tapped as a presenter for the awards programme, while Kristen’s itinerary is quite open.
And now that the pair no longer share a film franchise, they’re both starting to work on pet projects.
Following the end of the Twilight Saga this year, Robert is keeping himself busy and has three movies for release in 2013.
He stars in Western film The Rover, Gertrude Bell biopic Queen of the Desert, and Maps to the Stars, which is set to take a complex look at Hollywood.
Kristen confirmed last month that she’s set to work on the comedy ‘Focus’ which tells the tale of a novice con artist written by the team behind ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’
Ben Affleck had been tapped to star in the film, but dropped out after being unable to find time in his schedule for the project.
